Lincoln Square,
just north of Times Square, is a bustling, vibrant part of
New York City that combines a thriving commercial and
retail presence, world-renowned cultural institutions and
entertainment facilities, and a large residential community
all in one neighborhood. Anchored by Lincoln Center for the
Performing Arts and the magnificent Time Warner Center, this
fashionable, cosmopolitan Upper West Side neighborhood features
an abundance of fine restaurants, cafes, specialty stores
and large retailers, state of the art health care facilities,
educational institutions, and more. Street life bustles with
an energetic vitality in this 24/7 community.
The
Lincoln Square Business Improvement District (BID) was founded
in 1997 by property owners and other stakeholders to make
a great neighborhood even better – better for business
and property owners, better for the residents, better for
the millions of visitors and culture-seekers who come to the
neighborhood each year.
