Britto Art Exhibit

Stop by Time Warner Center to see pop artist Romero Britto’s latest exhibit. Romero Britto (b.1963) is a Brazilian artist based in Miami. Born in the disadvantaged area of Recife, he was self-taught at an early age by painting on surfaces such as newspapers. In 1983, he traveled to Paris where he was introduced to the work of Matisse and Picasso. He combined influences from cubism with pop to create a vibrant and iconic style that The New York Times describes, “exudes warmth, optimism and love.”

Meet the Artist Saturdays - Classical Jam

A vibrant ensemble of flute, percussion, violin, viola and cello, Classical Jam (CJ) brings five of the most highly demanded soloists and chamber musicians together. CJ is best known for its engaging and lively presentations of thought provoking concert themes, and wide-ranging repertoire including Renaissance dance music, traditional classical works, their own arrangements from Gershwin to Piazzolla. CJ was recently selected by Concert Artists Guild to receive the Cary Trust Fund for Contemporary Music Projects and were recently featured in the documentary film by Kasia Witek entitled "Classical Jam - A Documentary."
