The Lincoln Square neighborhood is the focus of several construction projects and events that will have an impact on the community. The 12th Annual Winter's Eve was a Huge Success!

Thanks to all of the neighborhoods stores, restaurants, cultural organizations, and sponsors, the 12th Annual Winter's Eve at Lincoln Square was a huge success! New York Cares Coat Drive Warms the City- and Winter's Eve!

The Lincoln Square BID is delighted to announce that this year’s Winter’s Eve charitable partner will be the annual New York Cares Coat Drive, which supplies coats to over 50,000 women, men and children in New York City. To meet the growing demand for coats, the Coat Drive begins early this year, running from November 15 through December 31. New York Cares hopes to collect 100,000 gently used or new coats to help the 18.7% of New York City families that live below the poverty line, and through our partnership with New York Cares, we have set up three coat drop-off locations throughout the Lincoln Square district. In addition to these permanent locations, several other local businesses and organizations have agreed to serve as drop-off locations the night of Winter’s Eve.

In this brisk holiday season, the New York Cares Coat Drive is a valuable way for New Yorkers to come together and give back to those in need in their communities, and we are proud to be a part of this effort. Please see below for coat drop-off locations:

November 15 - December 31:

- The American Bible Society at Broadway and 61st Street

- The West Side YMCA at 63rd Street, between Broadway and Central Park West

- YogaWorks at 37 65th Street, 4th Floor between Columbus and Central Park West

November 28 (Winter's Eve):

- Dante Park at Broadway and 63rd Street

- Citibank at Broadway and 63rd Street

- Tisch WNET Studios at Lincoln Center at Broadway and 66th Street

- The New York Public Library, Riverside Branch, 127 Amsterdam Ave at 65th Street

Lincoln Square Fashion Plate Prix Fixe Recap

Once again, the Lincoln Square Business Improvement District’s Fashion Plate Prix Fixe was a huge success this fall! From September 8th-15th, during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, twenty three local restaurants offered the public a variety of prix fixe meals. The Lincoln Square BID also expanded on its “Lincoln Square Crew Cuts,” promotion for Fashion Week production crews-- fifteen local eateries participated this season, offering discounts to the hardworking crews.
